Thierry Matrot is a fourth-generation winemaker in Burgundy, who makes wine like his great grandparents did: naturally. Located in Mersault, he and his wife Pascale have 19 hectares in five local villages, including 1er cru Puligny-Montrachet. They make meticulously crafted wines that truly reflect the storied terroir where they're grown.

The most southern appellation of the Côte de Beaune. The vines are planted on steep marly limestone slopes facing southeast. A robust wine full of character, with rich fruity aromas. A concentration of red fruit and peppery notes.
