About The Wine: This shiny ruby Cuvée opulently smells of juicy ripe berries rounded off with a gentle touch of juniper, tobacco and coffee. Velvety flattering the palatine the Rosso Veronese Ireos fascinates with expressive flavour, elegant body and a lingering finish. Maturation was part in barrels and part in barrique for approximately one year. The perfect wine for beef, especially lamb, for fungi and mature cheese. It should be able to breathe about an hour and be served at 16 to 18° C. Can be stored 10 to 12 years.
About The Winery: The winery Bennati has existed in its present form since 1920. In previous years, Antonio Bennati had made a name for himself in the Veneto region. Cantina Bennati, the official name of the estate, is now run by the fourth generation. They produce red wines, white wines and rose wines from native grape varieties such as Corvina, Garganega, Rondinella and Molinara grapes.
