Cantina Tudernum was founded in 1958 and is one of the largest wineries in Umbria.
It is situated on the slopes of Todi’s hill along the ancient Tiber Road.
All the wines are from estate grown vines. The vineyards are situated in Todi DOC area that include the cities of Collazzone, Massa Martana, Montecastello di Vibio and Todi. Among these towns, Todi is the biggest one and with the most important winemaking tradition.
In 2001 Cantina Tudernum bought 7 hectares of land and planted them with Sagrantino. From these vineyards they produce Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG and Montefalco Rosso DOC.
