95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - "The 2015 Zinfandel Fanucchi-Wood Road Vineyard (another century-old parcel in the Russian River) shows tart acids, tangy red and black cherry fruit, notes of roasted meat, crushed pepper, and briary, zesty, classic Zinfandel flavors that tip the scales at 15.5% natural alcohol. This is big, juicy, succulent Zinfandel with great acid. Drink it over the next decade. Drink now-2026. (RP)"

93 points Vinous - "The 2015 Zinfandel Fanucchi-Wood Road Vineyard is exuberant and flamboyant to the core, and yet the wine has all the frame to handle that richness. A host of dark cherry, plum, smoke, licorice and tobacco add nuance throughout. Even with all of its intensity, the 2015 retains striking freshness and vibrancy. (AG)"

93 points Wine Enthusiast - "Silky smooth, soft and concentrated, this hails from 100-year-old vines in the heart of the appellation. The wine is luscious in strawberry and black-cherry flavors. Expansive and boldly ripe, it has a core of richness that never overwhelms, finding companionship in a wisp of black and white pepper. (VB)"

91 points Wine Spectator - "Dark and brooding, with jammy raspberry and briary mint aromas and supple, plump wild berry, licorice and stony mineral flavors. Drink now through 2024. 280 cases made. (TF)"

The seven-acre Fanucchi-Wood Road Vineyard is situated on a knoll off Wood Road in the Russian River Valley. This vineyard's low-yielding vines produce blockbuster Zinfandel characterized by big blackberry and blueberry aromas and flavors. The fine-grained tannins contribute to a very opulent texture.
