The vastness of Patagonia describes a boundless universe. The ancient Mapuches regarded stars as deities and the Southern Cross constellation as the footprint of a Ñandú, the sacred animal. The thousands of stars surrounding this constellation were pictured as “boleadoras” catching the Ñandú, Mapuches’ sacred food. Our sky, blessed by the original civilizations, describes what only few chosen people can learn and appreciate, our Patagonian Universe.

Vineyards Argentine Patagonia (39º South Latitude - 300 m.a.s.l.), Neuquén, San Patricio del Chañar, Route 7, Picada 15. Vineyard area: 162 hectares. Year of plantation: 2001. Rainfall: 197 mm/year. Temperature range: 20ºC. Drip-irrigated vines on a high espalier, trained on a bilateral cordon with vertically positioned buds.

Sourcing & Aging Sourced from estate vineyards and aged un French Oak for 15 months. Purple-colored, it offers un a toasty, spicy nose with black currant aromas. This leads to a complex, elegant, savory wine with plenty of red and black fruit flavors, excellent depth and enough structure to evolve for 3-4 years. Tasting Notes Intense purplish red color. Fruity aromas such as ripe plums and blackberries accompanied by a subtle hint of vanilla. On the palate, flavors of marmalade spices and toast after being aged in French oak barrels. Unctuous wine with a long-lasting finish.
