Crafted in the sun-soaked Ararat Valley of Armenia, KEF Red is a bold and expressive blend of Areni and Malbec grapes. This distinctive red wine celebrates Armenia’s ancient winemaking heritage while embodying a contemporary spirit of craftsmanship.

Expect rich aromas, a full-bodied structure, and a persistent finish—perfect for pairing with grilled meats, hearty stews, or enjoyed on its own around the dinner table.

Grape Varieties: 60% Areni, 40% Malbec

Origin: Ararat Valley, Armavir Region – Armenia

Soil: Volcanic. Lightly eroded clay formed by basalt, high levels of carbonate and limestone, volcanic tuff and alluvial stones

Climate: Continental, cold semi-arid with warm summers and dry cold winters. Annual precipitation level is around 305 mm

Vinification: Manual harvest followed by selection table. Temperature-controlled maceration. Fermentation for 20 days at 26–28 °C. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks
