Founded by Jon Larson, a Howell Mountain native, Angwin Estate is the realization of a lifelong dream rooted in place, patience, and purpose. After careers in medicine and years spent across the United States, Jon Larson and Angela Henszel returned home to Howell Mountain to devote themselves fully to viticulture and winemaking. Today, they work side by side in the vineyard and cellar, overseeing every detail from farming to bottling.

This 100% estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon reflects the unmistakable character of Howell Mountain: concentration, structure, and age-worthiness. The wine is aged 22 months in ultra-premium French oak barrels, lending depth, polish, and complexity while preserving the vineyard’s natural intensity.

In the glass, the wine shows a deep, opaque ruby core. Aromas open with blackcurrant, blackberry, graphite, and mountain herbs, followed by subtle notes of cedar, dark cocoa, and spice. The palate is full-bodied and firmly structured, with layered dark fruit, finely grained tannins, and a long, persistent finish that speaks to both precision and power.

At 14% alcohol, this Reserve Cabernet is balanced, expressive, and built for aging—an authentic Howell Mountain wine made by hands that know the land intimately.
