The Fractura 2024 Syrah from Vino Figura is a striking example of Mexico’s growing fine-wine movement—crafted from 60–65-year-old vines in the Valle de San Vicente region of Baja California. This vintage blends approximately 85% Syrah and 15% Viognier, co-fermented to enhance aromatic lift and texture, in the style of classic northern Rhône wines.

Grown in the historic Santos Gallardo Vineyard, planted in the late 1960s, the fruit benefits from clay-loam soils rich in minerality and mild water stress—resulting in concentration, depth, and natural freshness. Grapes are harvested by hand, cooled overnight to preserve aromatics, and fermented with partial whole clusters to build structure and complexity.

The wine undergoes 100% malolactic fermentation and is aged 10–12 months in neutral French oak, then bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfites (0–10 ppm). With 13% alcohol, it is refined, balanced, and terroir-driven.
