Champagne Henriot 2006 Cuvee Hemera Brut Reims France
97 Points Wine Enthusiast
94 Points Wine Spectator
Cuvée Hemera has been produced by the family Henriot since the late 19th century, as a blend, in equal proportion, of their six historic and original vineyards in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay Grands Crus. The 2006 vintage was a year of great contrast, which is reflected in the tension and concentration of Cuvée Hemera. "In every aspect, Cuvée Hemera, named after the Greek Goddess of daylight, is symbolic of Maison Henriot's mastery of time. After 12 years of aging in the darkness and silence of our cellars, Cuvée Hemera 2006 still bears the freshness and liveliness of spring, while the minerality and floral notes of Chardonnay heighten the fruit-forward accents of Pinot Noir." - Cellar Master Alice Tetienne.
