Sourced from the Vigna Colombaiolo vineyard in Castelnuovo dell’Abate, this wine reflects a distinct terroir defined by clay-limestone soils, eastern exposure, and excellent diurnal variation.

Crafted from 100% Sangiovese, the wine undergoes fermentation with indigenous yeasts in wooden vats, followed by 24 months of aging in Slavonian oak casks, allowing for a pure and balanced expression of fruit, structure, and terroir.

On the nose, it is intense and layered, offering aromas of cherry, raspberry, red plum, and dried flowers, with deeper nuances of balsamic herbs, cocoa, cinnamon, and flint.
