Château Montrose is a winery in the Bordeaux region of France's Saint-Estèphe appellation. In the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855, the wine produced here was designated as one of fourteen Deuxièmes Crus (Second Growths).

Château Montrose makes two red wines: the grand vin d'honneur and La Dame de Montrose.

Montrose wines are notoriously tannic and can take up to 20 years to mature in exceptional vintages.

Based on the critics' scores, Château Montrose is the second most highly rated Saint-Estephe wine.

Château Montrose is normally a blend of 65 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc, and it is aged for 18 months in oak barrels (30% new).
