Château Smith Haut Lafitte is a Bordeaux wine from the Pessac-Léognan region that was classified among the Crus Classés for red wine in the Graves wine classification in 1953 and 1959. The winery and vineyards are located in the commune of Martillac, south of Bordeaux.

The vineyard has 67 hectares (170 acres), with 56 hectares planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc grape varietals. The remaining 11 hectares are planted with white varieties such as Sauvignon blanc (90%), Sémillon (5%), and Sauvignon gris (5%).

Every year, 10,000 cases of red wine and 2,500 cases of dry white wine are made by Château Smith Haut Lafitte. Les Hauts de Smith, the second wine, has a production of 5,500 cases and is available in red, white, and rosé varieties. The rosé is made under the AOC of Bordeaux.

Over the last two years, this Château Smith Haut Lafitte has been the most extraordinary Bordeaux. This wine is nothing short of metamorphosis, with an extraordinary structure and crystalline mouthfeel that transcends grape varietals and sensory markers of white Bordeaux.
