The history of Echo de Lynch Bages begins with the term Haut-Bages Averous, which has long been associated with Château's second wine, the result of a selection made for the first time during the 1976 harvest and continued every year thereafter.
The flavor, aromas, and length of Pauillac wines are all present in Echo de Lynch-Bages. From the vine to the cellars, it receives the same care and attention as the first wine. It's the product of a selection of Lynch-Bages' newest vines and selected plots that account for 25 to 40% of the crop depending on the year. In its youth, Echo de Lynch-Bages is round, smooth, and seductive, with great bottle aging potential.
