Kosta Browne is a Pinot Noir-focused winery in Sebastopol, California. Duckhorn Wine Company now owns Kosta Browne, which was formed in 1997.
Kosta Browne Winery was created by Dan Kosta and Michael Browne in 1997. In 2011, their 2009 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir was named Wine Spectator's Wine of the Year.
The winery relied on purchased grapes until 2013, when it purchased a 20-acre vineyard in Anderson Valley, followed by a 60-acre purchase in 2016.
Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are perhaps the best lenses through which to view the land, and in the Kosta Browne, they are devoted to telling the story of Californian's most sought-after wines with every bottle.
