TENUTE DEL GARDA  (organic) - Tenute del Garda is a group of wine producers located in Valtenesi, on the beautiful western shore of Lake Garda. The winery was founded a few years ago from Luca Martinelli (world best Sommelier 2013) Francesco Stagnoli (cellar manager) Alessio Bondinelli (enologist). The vineyards are located in Barcuzzi, Lucone e Storietta, Cantarane e Belvedere all near Garda Lake Riviera. With Tenute del Garda the old and the new, tradition and modernity go hand in hand: the substantive experience of the older generation vine growers and the enthusiasm of their young disciples ensures that we are constantly striving for the best.

Vineyard Region - Coste e Piazze

Grape - 100% Groppello Grape

Vinification - Fermentation for about 12-15 days Vinification

Aging - Fermentation in white, soft crushing with 60% must  extraction. Traditional method (champenoise), without sulfur, with 18-24 months on yeast.

Color - Gold turbid color

Aroma - Bread crust with citrunes notes

How to Serve the Wine - Refrigerate the bottle for 48hours in the fridge upside down. Before to open the crown cork, immerge the neck of the bottle in ice and water. With the opener remove the cork to eliminate the yeast and turn the bottle immediately up. This execution is done to have a more elegant wine, or if you are more a purist, keep the bottle  refrigerate for a day, swirl the wine for a minute to  disolve the yeast and after you can proceed to open the  bottle.
